Terms of Use

Effective 12 October 2026

These terms apply to Worn In, the iPhone app that tracks the wear of your shoes from your Apple Health workouts. Worn In is published by an individual developer based in Italy, identified in the Privacy Policy and on the app’s App Store page. In these terms “we” and “us” mean the publisher. By downloading or using Worn In you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

Worn In is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The sections below add the terms that are specific to Worn In.

2. The app

Worn In reads your workouts from Apple Health, with your permission, and counts their distance or time on the pairs of shoes you add. It needs an iPhone with iOS 27 or later. Without access to Apple Health the app still opens, but it cannot read your workouts, so the distance of your shoes does not change on its own.

Worn In has no account. Your data stays on your iPhone and, when iCloud is on, in your own private iCloud, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not have a copy of your data and cannot restore it for you: keeping your iPhone and your iCloud account in order is up to you.

3. Worn In Pro

Worn In is free to download and to use. Worn In Pro is an optional subscription that adds, to everything in Free:

Length, price and renewal

Worn In Pro is a single auto-renewable subscription that lasts one year. There is no free trial. The price is the one shown in the app and by the App Store before you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm.

The subscription renews automatically for another year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How to cancel

You manage and cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. While Pro is active, Settings › Manage subscription in Worn In opens the same page. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Purchases are made through Apple and are also subject to Apple’s terms. Requests for a refund are handled by Apple. Any right to withdraw from the purchase or to obtain a refund that the law gives you is not affected by these terms.

What remains when Pro ends

When a subscription ends, nothing is deleted:

If you subscribe again, or restore your purchase with Restore purchases, the Pro features come back.

4. Estimates are indications

Distances and times come from Apple Health as your devices and other apps recorded them. They can be incomplete or inaccurate, and Worn In cannot correct them.

The typical ranges, the expected lifespan, the estimated replacement dates, the reminders and the sizes in other brands are general indications. Recorded distance or time does not measure the physical condition of a shoe, and Worn In never inspects your shoes. Size conversions are based on publicly available manufacturer size charts and fit can vary between models: check the brand’s current chart before you buy.

Worn In is not a medical device. Nothing in the app is medical, safety or injury-prevention advice. When to replace a pair, and whether a pair is suitable for you, remain your decisions.

5. Other websites and brands

The in-app browser shows websites that belong to other companies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your visit; their own terms and privacy policies apply. The photo and model name you import from a page are saved in your private library for your personal use, and the content of those websites belongs to its owners.

Brand and model names are trademarks of their owners. Worn In is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the brands or websites shown in the app.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Worn In available and working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors or compatible with every iPhone or future version of iOS. Worn In depends on services we do not control, such as Apple Health, iCloud and the App Store, and it can be affected when they change or are unavailable.

We may update the app and change its features. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the rights the law gives you when digital content or a digital service you paid for is changed.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under the legal guarantee of conformity and the other rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.

Within those limits, we are not liable for losses that we could not reasonably foresee, for losses caused by inaccurate or missing data in Apple Health, by services or websites of other companies, or by the loss of data stored on your iPhone or in your iCloud account, or for decisions you take on the basis of the app’s estimates.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Changes do not apply to the past.
