Support

Help with Worn In, the iPhone app that tracks your shoes’ recorded distance and time from your Apple Health workouts. Write to us, or look for your question below.

Contact us

Write to support@wornin.app.

You can also write from the app. On the Shoes tab, tap the gear (Settings) and, under Help & support, tap Contact support. There you can:

Send email opens an email addressed to support@wornin.app with your message, the screenshots and the device lines. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself. If Mail is not set up on your iPhone, the app shows Share report instead, which opens the iPhone’s share sheet with the same text and screenshots, and Copy address.

In the “Changes couldn’t be saved” alert, and in Settings under Help & support while iCloud sync has a problem, the app also shows Report a problem. It opens the same form, starting with a line that names the screen and the kind of error; you can edit or delete it.

Contact support in the app adds the first two for you while Include device info is on. Please don’t send data or exports from Apple Health: we don’t need them.

Common questions

My workouts don’t appear

Worn In reads your workouts from Apple Health, so start in the app’s Settings, under Apple Health: if Access says Not connected, tap Connect Apple Health. If it says Requested and no workouts arrive, open the iPhone’s Settings › Privacy & Security › Health and check what Worn In is allowed to read. Sports counted in hours, such as tennis or the gym, appear only when Time-based activities is on in Default shoes, which you open from a pair’s page with Default for.

A workout is on the wrong pair

In Activity, tap the workout and then the pair under Shoe, or swipe left on the workout and tap Change Shoe; to move several at once, tap Select, choose them and tap Assign a pair. Both pairs update and nothing is counted twice. New workouts go to the default pair of their activity: to change it, open a pair, tap Default for and choose the pair for each activity in Default shoes.

I only see the last 30 days

Without Pro, Activity lists the workouts of the last 30 days, and those are the ones you can change. Earlier workouts are grouped in one row at the end of the list, marked Pro: tap it to see the Pro plan. With Pro they are listed one by one and can be matched to your pairs.

Restoring a purchase, managing or cancelling Pro

If you have subscribed and the app doesn’t show Pro, open Settings in Worn In and tap Restore purchases under Worn In Pro. While Pro is active, Manage subscription in the same section opens your App Store subscriptions. Cancelling is done there, in your App Store account settings (on your iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions), not inside Worn In, and deleting the app does not cancel the subscription: see the Terms of Use.

Syncing between two iPhones

Your pairs and their photos sync through your own private iCloud between iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on; Settings › iCloud in the app shows the state of your shoe library. Worn In checks iCloud each time you open it, so a change made on one iPhone shows on the other when you open the app there. Workouts are read from Apple Health on each iPhone, and the pair you chose for each one comes back when iCloud Keychain is on and that iPhone’s Apple Health has the same workouts.

Deleting my data

To delete a pair, open it and tap Delete pair: it is removed from the app on your iPhone and, through iCloud, on your other devices, and its workouts stay in Apple Health. What remains in your iCloud, and how to erase all of it, is described under Keeping and deleting your data in the Privacy Policy. Worn In has no account, so there is no account to delete; to have the emails you sent us deleted, write to us.

How Worn In handles your data is in the Privacy Policy. The terms for using the app and for Worn In Pro are in the Terms of Use.
